Safari Starts & Ends in:

Arusha, Tanzania

This 7-night Serengeti photo safari is timed for one of the most dramatic wildlife events on Earth: the wildebeest calving season in Tanzania’s southern Serengeti and Ndutu region. Over 500,000 calves are born in just a few weeks, and with them come the predators.

Photograph lion hunts at sunrise, cheetahs sprinting through open plains, and baby wildebeest taking their first steps. This is one of the most visually rewarding windows in the East African wildlife calendar, and it’s built for photographers who want motion, story, and light.

Southern Serengeti - Calving Grounds & Predator Action

Tanzania

Our adventure begins with a flight from Arusha into the Southern Serengeti, where you'll settle into Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp, strategically located to follow the herds.

For the next four days, you’ll photograph the annual wildebeest calving event, when thousands of newborns take their first steps and predators wait in the wings. Early mornings are spent tracking lion prides on the move, cheetahs surveying the plains, and hyenas weaving through herds.

The wide, open terrain allows for clean compositions, dramatic dust trails, and golden backlight as new life meets the reality of survival.
