This page explains how photography, video and other visual media are sourced, licensed and credited across websites and digital channels operated by Go Beyond Global Holdings Pty Ltd, including Go Beyond Safaris and Photo Safari Company.

How We Use Visual Media

Photography is central to the way we present Africa’s destinations, wildlife, camps, lodges and safari experiences. A substantial proportion of the imagery used across our brands is original work created by our own photographers. We also use selected media supplied or licensed by safari partners, accommodation providers, tourism organisations, commercial content providers and recognised open-content sources.

Not every licensed image requires a public credit. Where the applicable licence or permission does require attribution, we provide the relevant credit either with the media, elsewhere on the relevant page, or within the attribution register below as appropriate.

This page is therefore not intended to be an exhaustive inventory of every image used across our websites. The absence of an individual credit does not indicate that an image is unlicensed or that Go Beyond Global Holdings claims ownership of third-party material.

Media Sources & Licensing

Many of the photographs featured across Go Beyond Safaris and Photo Safari Company are original works created by members of our team or specifically commissioned for our businesses. These works remain protected by copyright and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, published or used commercially without appropriate permission.

Go Beyond Global Holdings works with safari camps, lodges, hotels, safari operators, destination management companies, tourism organisations and other travel-industry partners throughout Africa. As part of these commercial relationships, partners may provide approved photography, video and other marketing media through agent portals, media libraries, trade resources or direct distribution.

Media supplied through these channels is used for the purpose for which it has been made available to us, including the promotion and sale of the relevant properties, destinations, safari experiences and associated travel services, and on the basis of the permissions, licences and usage rights under which it was supplied.

Copyright and other intellectual-property rights in partner-supplied material remain with the relevant copyright holder or authorised rights holder. Where a partner specifies a mandatory photographer credit, attribution requirement, usage restriction or withdrawal request, we apply those requirements in accordance with the information supplied to us.

Go Beyond Safaris and Photo Safari Company also use photography, graphics and other visual media obtained through commercial content platforms and stock libraries.

A significant proportion of this third-party media is sourced through Canva Pro and is used under Canva’s applicable Content Licence Agreement and the licensing rights provided through our active Canva Pro subscription.

Canva Pro content may be used within exported Canva designs for commercial and promotional purposes, including websites and digital marketing, subject to Canva’s applicable licence terms and restrictions. Where the relevant Canva licence does not require public attribution, individual Canva assets or contributors may not be identified on this page.

Other commercially licensed media may be obtained from additional stock libraries or licensed content providers from time to time. Such material is used in accordance with the applicable licence governing that content.

The use of commercially licensed media does not represent a claim by Go Beyond Global Holdings Pty Ltd, Go Beyond Safaris or Photo Safari Company that it owns the underlying third-party copyright.

Where photography or other material is used under a Creative Commons or similar open-content licence, we use the work in accordance with the applicable licence conditions, including attribution, source identification, licence information and modification notices where required.

Works requiring individual public attribution are recorded in the attribution register on this page.

The appearance of third-party photography, video or other visual media on our websites does not transfer ownership of that material to Go Beyond Global Holdings, Go Beyond Safaris or Photo Safari Company. Applicable copyright, moral rights, trademarks and other intellectual-property rights remain with their respective owners or authorised rights holders.
